Jasmine S. Young is the founder & CEO of Southern Heritage Financial Group, a CPA firm she established in 2014 in efforts to spread financial literacy around the globe. She also established a charitable arm to Southern Heritage, The Financial Literacy Institute, Inc., to which provides financial literacy resources, courses, and programs to underserved and underprivileged communities.
A certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner, Jasmine obtained her bachelor’s of science in accounting from Alabama A&M University in 2013 and her master’s of business administration from the University of Arkansas at Grantham in 2016. She has over eight years of experience providing both individuals and businesses with tax, bookkeeping, payroll, financial consulting services. She also has over eleven years of experience in government accounting having served as federal government employee across four different federal government agencies.
In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys all things music related, spending time with her family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
